Sesshin

Sesshin is a multiple day meditation retreat which allows a deepening meditation.  
Partial participation in Shao Shan Temple sesshins is possible.  

If you have never attended a meditation program at Shao Shan Temple before, please contact us prior to the beginning of sesshin to arrange for a first time visit.

Sesshins, and all Shao Shan Temple programs, are by donation.


The next Sesshin is ROHATSU SESSHIN


December 1st-8th will be the Rohatsu Sesshin (Meditation Retreat)at Shao Shan Temple.

The Rohatsu Sesshin is a time of concentrated practice to commemorate

Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment upon seeing the morning star.
